Annie Garry – Biography
Annie Garry is a Civil Engineering student at the University of Bristol, where she held a Vice-Chancellor’s music scholarship in voice and oboe for three years.
Annie studies soprano with Angela Hickey and is President of the University Madrigal Ensemble, which she has been singing with for three years.
She has also been a member of the University Singers for four years and outside of the University, is a member of The Fitzhardinge Consort, Rodolfus Choir, National Youth Choir of Great Britain, National Youth Chamber Choir and a choral scholar at Clifton Cathedral. These choirs collectively have led her to sing in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and to record for BBC Radio 3.
Annie also enjoys opera, having been a member of Glyndebourne Youth Opera and having played the role of ‘Dido’ in the University Opera society’s 2019 production of ‘Dido and Aeneas’.
